RUS052 – Maximum Vehicle Width

Roadworks- Unlit and Lit Area: RA2. The Maximum Vehicle Width Sign, RUS 052, indicates that vehicles whose width exceeds that specified on the sign are prohibited. The maximum permitted width should be at least 0.15m less than the narrowest part of the road. However, this clearance may need to be greater where the road is not straight, to allow for long vehicles.
