RUS035 – LRT Yield

National Roads- Unlit Area: RA1 if AADT<3500, RA2 if AADT is >3500. Lit Area: RA2. Regional Roads- Unlit Area:RA1. Lit Area: RA2. Local Roads- Unlit and Lit Area: RA1. Roadworks- Unlit and Lit Area: RA2. Special signs are prescribed for observance by drivers of light rapid transit (LRT) vehicles. These signs are deliberately different from other traffic signs, since they are intended only for LRT drivers. The LRT Yield Sign, RUS 035, imposes a requirement on all approaching LRT vehicles to yield. LRT vehicles must yield to traffic on a road ahead of the LRT Yield Sign.
